Privacy policy

This policy describes how Jarvis Personal Assistant handles Google data. Jarvis is a private application operated for its owner's personal use.

Access and use

Jarvis accesses Google data only after the account owner authorizes it. Requested permissions allow it to manage Calendar events, read and manage Gmail messages, including sending messages, and read and manage Drive files.

Actions are performed to fulfil the owner's requests. Messages are sent only with the owner's explicit authorization.

Processing and storage

Relevant Google data may be processed by configured AI services, currently OpenAI and OpenRouter, to interpret requests and provide assistant responses. Content may also appear in conversation history, persistent assistant memory, and private backups stored on the owner's machine. Access credentials are kept in private persistent storage on that machine.

Jarvis does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI models. Data sent to configured providers is also subject to their applicable terms and data-handling policies.

Revocation and deletion

The owner can revoke Google access through Google Account third-party connection settings. Revoking access prevents further API access, but does not automatically erase existing conversation history, memory, or backups. The owner can delete those stored records separately.

Google API policy

Jarvis's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
